These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the purchase of products from The Design Hobo. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access where misuse is identified.

4. Products

All products sold by The Design Hobo are made to order.

Each item is produced specifically after your order has been placed and is not taken from warehouse stock.

Because every product is individually manufactured, slight variations may naturally occur between products.

Examples include:

Minor print placement differences
Slight colour variation between screens and printed products
Fabric texture differences
Print absorption into different garments
Minor garment measurement tolerances within manufacturer specifications

Product images and digital mockups are intended as illustrations of the finished product. While we aim to represent our products as accurately as possible, exact colour and placement cannot be guaranteed.

These normal variations do not constitute manufacturing defects.

5. Product Availability

We reserve the right to:

Withdraw products from sale
Update product descriptions
Amend product specifications
Discontinue collections
Correct errors or omissions

without prior notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

6. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from The Design Hobo.

Your order is accepted once it has entered production or we have confirmed acceptance by email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

Payment cannot be authorised.
Fraudulent activity is suspected.
Pricing errors have occurred.
Product availability has changed.
We reasonably believe the order breaches these Terms.

If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

7. Prices & Payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without notice.

Payment must be received in full before production begins.

Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.

8. Pricing Errors

Although every effort is made to ensure pricing is accurate, errors can occasionally occur.

If an obvious pricing error is identified before production begins, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

9. Production & Fulfilment

Products are manufactured using trusted third-party print-on-demand fulfilment partners.

Production typically begins shortly after an order is placed.

For this reason:

Orders cannot normally be changed once production has started.
Orders cannot normally be cancelled once production has started.
Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

10. Delivery

Estimated production and shipping times are provided for guidance only.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

Courier services
Customs processing
Severe weather
Peak seasonal demand
Supplier disruption
Events outside our reasonable control

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery rests with the courier.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address entered during checkout is accurate.

Orders returned because of incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer may require additional shipping costs before they can be resent.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local handling fees charged by their country.

11. Returns & Refunds

Because all products are made specifically to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

Change of mind
Incorrect size selection
Incorrect colour or product selection
Buyer’s remorse
Accidental purchases after production has started

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

12. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

To help us investigate your claim, please include:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the product
Photographs of the packaging where relevant

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide:

A replacement
A refund
Another suitable resolution

Each claim is assessed individually.

13. What Is Not Considered a Manufacturing Defect

The following are considered normal characteristics of made-to-order production and are not regarded as manufacturing defects:

Minor colour differences between screens and printed products
Slight print placement variations
Fabric texture differences
Minor garment measurement tolerances
Natural differences between production batches
Delivery delays that remain within estimated timeframes
Incorrect size selected by the customer
Change of mind after purchase

14. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

Providing accurate contact and delivery information.
Selecting the correct size, colour and product.
Reviewing product descriptions before purchase.
Checking all order details before completing checkout.

Failure to provide accurate information may affect our ability to amend or fulfil your order.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content available on this website is the intellectual property of The Design Hobo.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Original artwork
Graphic designs
Branding
Logos
Website design
Product photography
Illustrations
Written content

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold or otherwise used without our prior written permission.

Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

16. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes:

Cannot normally be applied after an order has been placed.
Have no cash value.
May expire without notice.
May be withdrawn or amended at any time.

Unless otherwise stated, only one promotional code may be used per order.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Subject to applicable law, we shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses.
Loss of profits or business opportunities.
Delays caused by third-party couriers.
Customs delays.
Events outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
